Viv Kenchington is a Reflexologist with passion for health and wellbeing. Her interest in the welfare of the family unit was sparked from an inspiring run of reflexology cases with children. Continuing a proportion of her work within this field, she aims to tailor treatments supporting couples with fertility problems and creating treatment plans pre and postnatally for the whole family.
A personal note from Nick - my baby life founder
I established my baby life to work with parents and parents-to-be after feeling there was a genuine need for emotional support for parents during this time of change. For many parents, whether they have children or not, until the baby arrives every communication has been about the birth – the baby then arrives and their world turns upside down. Parents need to continue to experience the fun, feeling and enjoyment of their lives. Through unique counselling and coaching, I help to empower parents to find their genuine inner self and to find true authenticity.
Bowen Therapy can be invaluable during the childbearing year and can be performed with the client either sitting or lying on the side. The very gentle approach of Bowen Therapy also makes it ideal for treating newborn babies. Colic, reflux and constipation have all shown a response to Bowen treatments. www.christiandunham.net
I'm based on Lower Bristol Road (opposite the Renault showroom), just down from the Green Park Tavern.
Victoria and her colleague Dawn Hamilton run a special Baby and Children’s Clinic every Wednesday. They participate together in the gentle treatment of each baby and child. This combines over 35 years of osteopathic skill and expertise and so provides excellent and caring treatment.
Dwara does a lot of work with people who have fertility problems, and also sees patients through pregnancy, and preparation for birth. One of the things she does is teach acupressure to fathers and birth partners, which is a tool that could also be used in water.
